Certificates Report

An Electrical Installation Certificate can only be issued by the company that has carried out the electrical work - It is a safety Certificate which confirms that the electrical installation work to which it relates has been designed, inspected and tested by an approved contractor and meets all safety regulations and the standards laid down in the Current Regulations of BS7671.
Part 'P' cover electrical installations and the requirements as set out within Part 'P'.
It is enforceable in the same way as any other building regulations and the body who police it is your local building control office.
