Full-Range
Full-Range (Electrical) Ltd was started in 1969 as a family run business; John Haywood & Partners (Electrics) based in Sturminster Marshall, Dorset carrying out Electrical Installations and Electric Motor Rewinds. In 1980 it moved its office & workshop to its current location in Parkstone, Poole. Following John Haywood's retirement in 2000 the business became known as Full-Range John Haywood & Partners.

Since 2012 the new owners have continued to carry out Electrical Installations and Electric Motor Rewinds, just as it did when established. They have also added newer technology including LED Lighting, Inverter Drive Technology and Electric Vehicle Charging Points.

Full-Range (Electrical) Ltd has been registered as an Approved Contractor with the UK's leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry, the NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) for over 25 years.
Services
We pride ourselves on carrying out a neat job.
We believe it's not necessary to see cables on show around the work place, so as you can see in the photo's we use trunking and conduit to carry our cables.
Where appropriate, all our new installations receive a NICEIC, Electrical Installation Certificate, which have a suggested retest date.
At this retest point an Electrical Installation Condition Report is carried out.
Many insurance companies are now requesting electrical condition reports.
Looking to the future with more electric vehicles on our roads, we are fully trained and government approved, in the installation of electrical vehicle charging points.
Workplace Charging Scheme - a voucher-based scheme up to 300/point for eligible businesses, charities & public-sector organisations, that helps towards the upfront costs of the purchase & installation of the electric vehicle charging point.
Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme - provides grant funding up to a maximum of 500, towards the cost of installing an electric vehicle charge point at domestic properties across the UK.
Inverter drives offer speed or torque control of electric motors.
All motors consuming electricity need a corresponding amount of energy to provide the correct torque or speed.
If these are set too high or low, mechanical controls must be used to control output.
The most efficient system has a motor's speed exactly matching what is required by the procedure.
If this is not achieved, the inefficiency of the motor results in wasted energy.
A way to control these motors is to use an inverter, also known as Variable Speed Drive (VSD) or Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) or frequency converter.
We offer design, electrical and gas installation of ventilation systems for commercial kitchens.
Our gas engineer is registered with Gas Safe.
We are very experienced in supplying the right airflow to provide a good ambient temperature and removal of fumes.
All ductwork is in neat stainless steel, quality European manufactured fans only, stainless steel canopies.
Our fully equipped workshop, with a testing facility for electric motors, provides an electric motor rewind & repair service plus supply & installation of new bearings, brushes, capacitors & oil seals.
We also service swimming/spa pool pumps often requiring new seals, bearings & capacitors.
While most of our customers bring their own items into the workshop, our engineers can visit your site to investigate your problem & if necessary dismantle your equipment to return the motor to the workshop for repair.
